Founded in Australia in 1981, TextileMania have supplied the built environment with premium textiles and fabrics for more than 30 years. Today, they’re still growing – Having recently relocated to the UK, they are expanding to new markets and working to establish the brand as the leading supplier of high quality, low environmental impact textiles to companies around the world.

Fanatical About Fabrics

Using the new branding, a key part of the design was to ensure that the master colours became an integral and immersive feature of the site. Creating an automated split screen that showcased their brand colours with their coordinated latest products was a primary way we could engage a user when landing on the site. Throughout the e-commerce site we needed to reinforce the business’s core principles of sourcing world-class textiles, designing and developing high quality fabrics as well as being reflective of the brand’s vision. As well as creating an Environment specific page on the site, it was important to demonstrate the brand’s commitment to sustainability on the homepage in a clear and captivating way, with relevant icons to highlight their B Corp pending status and commitment to meeting the highest standards of social, environmental performance and transparency.

Take It Easy On The Planet

Another powerful element of the site was the idea to create a unique, captivating and informative Inspiration page. The page was designed with the view to allow users to not only have the ability to filter by pattern, texture, or colour whilst exploring carefully selected imagery from architecture, fashion and lifestyle, but to also allow them to drag their favourite images to the top of the page in order to curate their favourite finishes for a project.
