Alliance For Universal Digital Rights (AUDRi) was founded in 2022 by two international gender equality and advocacy organisations, Equality Now and Women Leading in AI. AUDRi exists to explore ways of creating a digital future in which everyone can enjoy equal rights to safety, freedom, and dignity – whoever they are and wherever, whenever, and however they exist and connect in the digital world.
AUDRi places particular emphasis on women, girls, and other people from discriminated-against groups, all of whom face intersecting forms of discrimination and gender-based stereotypes in the physical world. Because it is only when the most vulnerable in society are protected that everyone is safe. Appointed to work with the AUDRi team and Studio DBD was a privilege for this digital project.
In collaboration with Studio DBD, we worked on the website design and website development in WordPress. Studio DBD worked on the new branding creation for AUDRi and the core website page designs so that we could then continue to evolve the website designs and work to capture the unique brand touchpoints across the site. Our role placed emphasis on the UX / UI, front end development and backend development of the website.
The online experience needed to reflect the new brand, highlight key messaging and allow users to interact with the site with ease and navigate to areas of the site with minimal clicks. We worked to create a seamless user experience with smooth, clean transitions that worked to keep users engaged and encourage exploration of the site, and learn more about AUDRi’s approach to this global challenge.
Following the launch of the website, we worked with the AUDRi team on the design of their new email marketing templates. Ensuring that their brand identity is cohesive and consistent across all their marketing channels, and that they have enough variation in their email templates in order to create strategic, structured campaigns.
Just a personal note from me to say Thank you for helping us get over the line for this weekend. I know it’s not been the easiest of projects but we are super proud of how it all looks and I’m grateful for all the commitment to delivering what we set out for!
