Tune in tonight at 9pm to episode 2 of the Channel 5 documentary, ‘Made in Yorkshire.’ Everyone at adigi will be tuning in as two of our clients; Wensleydale Creamery and Vale of Mowbray will be showing host John Prescott around their Yorkshire factories – he’ll try his hand at some cheese and pork pie making so we’re excited to see how that goes!
We’re proud to be a Yorkshire business and are so pleased that two of our clients got chosen to be on TV and receive national coverage for two historic brands. We do the online marketing for both brands, including email marketing. For Vale of Mowbray, from their website design and build, social media, photo shoots and blogs, we handle their online presence in house at adigi.
Wensleydale Creamery are an iconic Yorkshire brand, cheese-making in Wensleydale dates back to 1150, when French Cistercian monks first settled in the beautiful Yorkshire dales. In 1536, as the Dissolution of the Monasteries was occurring under King Henry VIII’s reign, the monks passed the recipe to farmers wives in the area so they were able to continue on the traditional methods.
Vale of Mowbray began as a brewery in 1795 before baking their first pork pies in 1928. They’ve been perfecting the perfect bake ever since and have achieved it in their state of the art bakery in the heart of Yorkshire. Their pork pies are in more national supermarkets now than ever, so even if you’re in London you can still grab yourself a slice of Yorkshire!
We can’t wait to see the program and have been promised it’s a very entertaining watch so be sure to watch tonight at 9pm.
