William Jackson Food Group (WJFG) is a long-established, family-owned food business behind some of the UK’s most recognised names in food, including Abel & Cole, Belazu, and Jacksons of Yorkshire.
We were approached to design, build and launch a new website that would reflect the Group’s evolving identity and better showcase its growing collection of brands. The previous site had become outdated and no longer captured the scale, ambition or personality of the business.
We worked closely with the WJFG team to create a website that brings the Group’s values, people and brand portfolio to the forefront. Although we weren’t responsible for the creation of the brand, we developed key elements to work more effectively in a digital setting. This included refined typography, more expressive use of colour, and a layout system that supported strong storytelling.
The new site was built on WordPress, giving the internal team full control over content updates and future development. We also restructured the site architecture to improve navigation, highlight the individual brands and support recruitment efforts through clearer calls to action.
The final website is a confident and contemporary expression of the WJFG identity. It delivers a strong first impression while providing a flexible platform for ongoing content and communication. The Group now has a digital presence that reflects its position in the market and supports its future growth.
This isn’t our first collaboration with WJFG. We previously worked with the Group to build the Jacksons of Yorkshire website and continue to support and host that site today. Our long-term partnership is built on a shared understanding of the food and drink industry and a commitment to quality.
