The project

  • Since 1981

    Premium textiles, founded in Australia

  • UK launch

An online shop for their move into the UK

  • Up front

Sustainability on the homepage and its own page

The brief

Fabrics first, from the very first screen.

Founded in Australia in 1981, TextileMania supply premium, low environmental impact textiles to companies around the world. Moving to the UK, they needed a shop that put their colours and their sustainability front and centre.

What we did

What made the difference.

  1. The TextileMania homepage on a tablet: “Fanatical about fabrics”
    01

    Colour you can’t miss

An automated split screen pairs their master colours with the latest fabrics.

  2. A green upholstered sofa, close up
    02

An inspiration page to play with

Filter by pattern, texture or colour, then drag favourites to the top to build a palette.

  3. A blue upholstered armchair against a pale wall
    03

    Sustainability, up front

An environment page, and clear commitments on the homepage.

  4. The TextileMania environment page on a tablet: “Take it easy on the planet”
    04

    A shop for the trade

Fabrics that are easy to browse and order, on every device.

What changed

A brand ready for a new market.

TextileMania arrived in the UK with a website that shows the range, and the values behind it, at a glance.

“TextileMania have a really strong brand, and it was great bringing it to the web. We wanted to show off their different textures, and set them against the bright, bold brand and their stunning imagery. It’s exactly the sort of project I like to work on.”
