The brief

Japanese heritage, introduced to the UK.

Tenjaku is a blend of malt and grain whiskies, distilled and blended in Japan with volcanic-filtered spring water. To launch in the UK, it needed its brand extended for a new audience without losing its Japanese character, and a website and photography to carry it.

What we did

What made the difference.

  1. Tenjaku website pages laid out at an angle
    01

    The bottle on every page

The shapes of the bottle and label break up the page and carry the brand.

  2. A bottle of Tenjaku whisky beside an orange cocktail
    02

    Two photoshoots

One in the studio and one on location at Grantley Hall, planned and styled by us.

  3. A bottle of Tenjaku and a glass of whisky beside lilac mochi
    03

    Colour for a new market

Lighter tones and new textures alongside the brand’s black, gold and white.

  4. The Tenjaku homepage on a tablet

“Two photoshoots, a brand and a website, all for a whisky new to the UK. My job was keeping it moving, from the studio to Grantley Hall, so everyone else could focus on getting each shot and each page right.”
