The project

  • Since 1851

Baking in Yorkshire, six generations on

  • 3 in 1

A shop window, a recipe library and a trade area

  • WordPress

Products, recipes and trade on one site

The brief

Champion bread, beyond the shelf.

Jacksons have baked in Yorkshire since 1851. The website is their shop window: the range, where to buy it, recipes that bring people back, and a way for businesses to order.

What we did

What made the difference.

  1. Jacksons of Yorkshire website pages laid out at an angle
    01

    Six generations of story

Heritage and brand side by side, so the family history works for the bread.

  2. A loaf of Jacksons Joy farmhouse bread
    02

    Recipes worth coming back for

A recipe section and blog, from pizza crusts to bread pudding.

  3. Toasted Jacksons bread with boiled eggs
    03

    Where to buy, made simple

Every product shows where people can find it.

  4. A pack of Jacksons hot cross buns on a purple background
    04

    A trade area for businesses

Businesses can ask about supply straight from the site.

What changed

Reaching people beyond the bread aisle.

Every product, recipe and trade enquiry now has a clear home, and the family’s own team can update all of it.

Kev Anderson looking down at his work, by a brick wall

“Jacksons have a lot of products, recipes and a trade side, so the build had to keep all of it easy for their team to update. WordPress gives them that, without anyone needing to call us for a new recipe.”
