The project

  • By age

Sessions sorted, so parents find the right one

  • 2 taps

From the homepage to any session

  • WordPress

Sessions, photos and FAQs managed by their team

The brief

A classroom without walls.

Born of the Forest give children space and time to explore nature: mud pies, dens, real tools and cooking on fires. The website needed to be just as playful, and easy for parents to use.

What we did

What made the difference.

  1. Born of the Forest website pages laid out at an angle
    01

A brand that grew from the logo

New fonts, colours and textures, built on their existing mark.

  2. A child on a swing among autumn trees
    02

    Sessions sorted by age

Parents find the right session for their child in a couple of taps.

  3. A child in wellies by a sign reading “The nest of mindfulness”
    03

    Playful, but clear

A journey that’s as simple as it is fun.

  4. The Born of the Forest homepage on a tablet
    04

Easy for the team to update

A WordPress site where they manage sessions, photos and FAQs themselves.

What changed

Easier for parents to say yes.

Every session is now a couple of taps from the homepage.

“Born of the Forest is about muddy adventures and capturing children’s imaginations, and we wanted the website to do the same. It had to look amazing to a child looking over a parent’s shoulder as they book a birthday party, and still be easy for the parent to use. Bringing those together was a really fun creative challenge.”
